Who Are We?
Our belief is every organization regardless of size deserves access to the same level of resources, innovation and technological expertise. For over 20 years, HBS has been supporting companies, schools, hospitals and government agencies of all sizes with all levels of need for technology improvements.
What do we do?
The HBS roots date back to 1990, providing packaging labels to the grocery industry through then owner created Alferi Communications. In 1992, the two companies merged and moved to the present location in Little Chute, WI. With the labeling division as the workhorse, the demand for the company’s technology expertise continued to grow and expand. That led to the creation of Heartland Business Systems.
Introduce the world-wide-web and HBS growth exploded. In 2004, the company added its third division, Avastone Technologies, which is focused on custom programming, website development, business intelligence, and mobile development. Enter the current decade, and HBS contains all the ingredients to support clients of all shapes and sizes from the data center and end-point computing, to business systems, data analytics and mobility.
From its start in the grocery industry, HBS now serves businesses ranging from healthcare and manufacturing to retail, government, education and the commercial enterprise.
