   CAPSYS CAPTURE is a thin client application specifically designed for the Internet, giving users a simple and easy to use enterprise-wide tool for capturing and sharing documents at a lower cost of ownership than traditional capture software. The CAPSYS CAPTURE client is a browser-based, thin client that requires no workstation software to be installed or maintained. The software boasts a powerful workflow and design component allowing clients to tailor and manage their capture processes based on the unique application and document type requirements specific to their business. It allows companies to design their own capture process graphically, without programming or scripting. The ability to deploy powerful advanced capture processing functionality like optical character recognition, barcode recognition and forms recognition are also available to streamline the process of characterizing and indexing documents.

CAPSYS CAPTURE Web Client

Automated Zonal Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 includes zonal OCR inside of the Web Client based on pre-defined zone OCR templates. This feature allows for field information from documents to automatically be recognized and captured without requiring users to manually key information.


“Rubber-band” Optical Character Recognition (OCR)
CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 includes a “rubber band” OCR feature for on-the-fly zone OCR instantly without templates. This feature allows the user to dynamically draw a zone on an image and instantly OCR the zone during indexing, causing the OCR results to be populated into the desired field without typing.


Image Smart Orientation (Auto Rotate)
CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 includes a feature to automatically rotate all text-based TIFF and JPEG images in a batch to the correct orientation. This feature can dramatically reduce the amount of time required to review and validate documents during the capture process.


Dock-able Image Viewer
CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 includes the ability to un-dock the CAPSYS CAPTURE Viewer pane from the main browser window for display on a secondary monitor. This feature is very useful for production (power) users in a two display environment.

CAPSYS CAPTURE Server

Process Priority
CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 includes the ability to specify processing priority among different processes. This will allow items for one process to take priority over another for mission critical or high-priority processes.


ExportPro Customizable Release Module Utility
CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 includes a new, configurable export module that can be used for releasing data to 3rd party systems and content repositories. This module has a graphical user interface and can easily be tailored to release documents and their associated metadata to any content repository of choice.


Microsoft® SharePoint® Release Module
CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 includes a new release module for Microsoft® Office SharePoint Server environments that enables the release of documents and images and their associated metadata into a Microsoft Sharepoint repository.


   In addition, the CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 release also includes a number of updates to increase system performance and usability as well as a number of updates to support the latest operating system environments and components including Microsoft® Internet Explorer® 8, and Windows® 7.

   CAPSYS CAPTURE 4 is available both as an on-premise purchase and as Software as a Service (“SaaS”), hosted in the convenience of a secure data center. The product is immediately available.
